Partner sites
Each fellow is placed in a service position that they serve at for 4 days per week throughout the year. Site partners for these service positions include local nonprofit organizations, farms, and occasionally small businesses. The relationship Grace Year cultivates with site partners is crucial to the success of the program.

Cardinal Hayes Home for Children
Cardinal Hayes Home for Children is a not-for-profit agency providing residential care and treatment for young people who are developmentally disabled. CHHC is sponsored by Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. Our fellows work directly with residents, helping them develop skills and confidence, as well as with the clinical staff.
Dutchess Land Conservancy
The DLC works to strategically and proactively protect high-priority, strategically important conservation lands that include our most important natural resources, watersheds and drinking water sources, working farms and forestlands, and outdoor spaces for recreational use. Our fellow participates in monitoring land under conservancy, collecting data and community outreach.
Northeast Dutchess Immigrant Services
NEDIS provides support, services, education and advocacy for all immigrant communities in Northeast Dutchess County. Our fellows work under the supervision of the director, providing case management, immigration assistance, food and other services as needed. A second position has been added that focuses on advocacy and policy changes.
Cary Institute for Ecosystem Studies
Based in Millbrook, NY, Cary Institute conducts research into environmental issues with a focus on urban ecology, disease ecology, forests and fresh water. Our fellows have worked in communications as well as in scientific research and community outreach.
